Chalk is usually nontoxic. If your child ate chalk, give them a few sips of water and watch for symptoms. If your child begins vomiting, call IPC at 1-800-222-1222.
There are usually no symptoms from eating chalk in small amounts.

Chalk is used for drawing and coloring. It is readily washable. Chalk contains calcium salts.
NOTE: Chalk can be a choking hazard. If your child is choking on chalk, call 911 immediately
